Gluten-Free Rice Krispies Recipe

Are Rice Krispies gluten-free?

Traditional Rice Krispies cereal is not considered gluten-free because it contains a malt flavoring from barley, a gluten-containing grain. The good news is that gluten-free versions of puffed rice cereal are available from other brands, so you can still make and enjoy this delicious treat.

My children and I love making these gluten-free rice crispy treats. They can even make them themselves as they are so easy to make. All you need is 4 ingredients and a bit of time, and you can have these ready for lunchboxes, party treats, or snacks on the go.

You can change them by adding your favorite things like chocolate chips, candy pieces, or more. You can even use food coloring, sprinkles and holiday candy and change them up for Halloween, Christmas, or any other holiday. We love creating these; children love them, and they are so simple to make.
